The following is truly a story.

The late Professor Jasper Bloodstone Chapman, Ph.D., Ri.P., always had a head for business.

He also had a belief that wondrous items should be part of people’s lives rather than be enshrined behind a velvet rope. Or worse, entombed at the bottom of a landfill.

The good professor departed academia, founding the Arcane Salvage Company – an organization dedicated to exhuming ancient and unusual things and placing them with collectors of the peculiar. He devoted the rest of his life to haunting moldering old junk piles around the world. It is rumored he haunts them still.

When he finally shuffled off his mortal coil his company was shuttered. His body was committed to the grave. His skull was not subsequently retrieved and placed on display in our library as that would be very, very wrong.

Instead, Chapman’s spirit lives on in the mission of Three Spirits LLC: to salvage, preserve, and re-home remarkable objects from throughout culture and history so that their value – and the true stories that they tell – might never be lost.
